SOSULINGUA
Language barriers and potentials among linguistic minority students in Danish social and healthcare education

About the project

The research project SOSULINGUA explores language practices, barriers and potentials among linguistic minority students in Danish social and healthcare education. Through linguistic-ethnographic observations, sound recordings and interviews, the project follows about 30 students of various ethnic and linguistic backgrounds across schooling and vocational training periods. The aim is to generate knowledge on second language-related barriers and potentials in Danish social and healthcare education and thereby retain more minority students in the programme.
