We recently met with our advisory board to discuss the state of the project, ongoing articles upcoming conferences and ideas.
Despite the compelling photographic evidence suggesting that our advisory board meeting consisted mainly of boat trips and pipe smoking, we actually spent quite a bit of time in a meeting room discussing:
- What does rurality mean in Denmark, and how does it compare to rurality in other countries?
- What is happening in excerpts from our family interviews? How can we analyse the ways families talk about opportunities and futures in rural areas?
- Feedback on our discourse analysis of rural municipalities' policy documents.
- How can we design the best interview questions for our upcoming stakeholder interviews?
