WP1: Project management and communication

In the coming 4 years, researchers at the Department of Ecoscience - Aarhus University in collaboration with Force Technology, DTU Aqua, University of Southern Denmark, Department of Environmental Science - Aarhus University and the Maritime Research Alliance will carry out a research project to map potential derived environmental effects using different green fuels in the shipping industry. The project will include several experimental studies to investigate the impact on aquatic organisms, natural degradation mechanisms, the spread of substances in the atmosphere and marine environment during normal operation and in the event of an accident/spill, as well as life cycle assessment.
