An important basis for the subsequent activities is the acquisition of knowledge about the technologies and data for the products, including information about the composition of the chemicals included in the green fuels, as well as data about the physical, chemical and ecotoxicological properties of the substances and chemicals in relation to spread and distribution in the environment, biodegradability, accumulation in organisms and sediment, toxicity to marine organisms, etc. Collection of knowledge and data takes place with manufacturers and suppliers. A project database is being developed for the collected knowledge.
